The difference between the two products lies in the type of grape and the method of drying. Organic raisins are made from dark red or blue grapes that are dried in the sun for around five to seven days. Our organic sultanas are made from light-colored, seedless Thompson Seedless grapes that are sprayed with a solution of potash and organic olive oil before drying. As a result, they retain their light color and are softer and juicier than organic raisins.
